Comment Rules

This is Aaron Camp, the author of The Progressive Midwesterner. I’m not as strict as many other bloggers regarding comments. For example, I’ll allow people who disagree with me to comment on here, and I’ll allow people to leave comments on my blog posts criticizing me. However, I do have a few rules regarding online comments:

  1. Please comment about things that are relevant to the blog post. If replying to someone else’s comment, please comment about things that are relevant to the blog post, the comment that one is replying to, or both. I’ll delete any irrelevant comments, and repeated irrelevant comments by the same individual will result in said comments being marked as spam.
  2. Don’t try to sell products and/or services on here. Any comments that involve trying to sell people something will be marked as spam.
  3. Don’t make racist, sexist, homophobic, lewd, or otherwise offensive and inappropriate comments on here. Any offensive and inappropriate comments will be deleted, and repeated offensive and inappropriate comments by the same individual will result in said comments being marked as spam.

Within those rules, feel free to comment on here.
